Garden Trial Results Analyzer

Paste control and treatment yields to calculate means, difference, Welch t-test statistics, and a plain-English interpretation.

Compare Two Yield Columns

Paste one numeric value per plant or plot for controls and treatments. The analyzer calculates sample sizes, means, standard deviations, the mean difference, percent difference, and a simple Welch t-test. It is a statistical aid, not a substitute for a good trial design.

How To Read The Result

A positive difference means the treatment mean is higher than the control mean for the values you pasted. A low p-value means the difference would be less expected under the simple no-difference model used by this test. It does not prove the mechanism, rule out garden-position bias, or replace replication.

For the strongest workflow, design the experiment with the trial designer, record copper geometry with the antenna calculator, then analyze the predefined outcome here.

FAQ

What numbers should I paste into the analyzer?

Paste one numeric outcome per plant or plot, such as harvest weight in grams. Keep the units and outcome identical across both groups.

Does a p-value prove electroculture worked?

No. It is one check. You still need to ask whether the test was randomized, replicated, blocked, measured honestly, and repeated under similar conditions.
